How to Solder Like a Pro

August 21, 2010

We like soldering.  And some days it likes us back!  On those days our iron tip is clean, bright and always at the perfect temp.  On those days the solder flows as though it’s reading our minds; and the resulting beads are smooth, straight and without a hint of a ripple or blob!

Then there are Other Days…..

This primer is for those Other Days. You can get it here.  It’s free and it’s really good.  It comes to us from our friends at Inland Craft Products.  It’s a 21 page guide on everything you’ll want to know about soldering.

Though fairly long, it is an easy read as everything is broken down into nice, managable chunks.  Print it off and keep it around your worktable as a quick reference when things begin going sour.  You’ll be glad you did!

You’ll need the free Adobe Reader in order to open and save it to your computer.  If you need the Adobe Reader you can get it here.
